Taddle Creek Welcomes 2 New Staff Members
TC FHT has hired for two fulltime positions; Diabetes Education Program (DEP) Registered Nurse and Physician Assistant.
Karen Finch has been hired for the Diabetes Nurse Educator (DNE) position (permanent position). When Ashen Chetty resigned (1-year maternity leave for Jessica Bakhle's), we decided to hire for the permanent position approved by the ON MOHLTC in March 2011. Karen has BSCN from York University and is a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE). She has been employed as a CDE for the last 3 years at Lamp Community Health Center (CHC) and Bramalea CHC's DEP. Karen's first day will be Nov 14, 2011.
Andrea Filip has been hired for the Physician Assistant (PA) position (2-year term). This is a new role to our FHT that was approved in Sep 19, 2011 by the ON MOHLTC. Andrea has a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science and completed 3 years of a Bachelor of Science Degree. She will complete her 2 years of PA training in Dec 2011. Along with a plethora of clinical experience during her PA education, Andrea worked at the Hospital for Sick Children as a lab assistant (1 year) and Campbellford Memorial Hospital as a radiography technologist (1 year). Andrea's 1st day full time will be Jan 31, 2012.

We Need A Logo!
Taddle Creek Family Health Team needs a logo. Are you the artist we have been looking for?
Come up with a logo that you feel captures what we do here at Taddle Creek. Logos can be hand drawn or electronic. It will be sent to a graphic designer for copyright! The winner will recieve a $100 gift certificate to a local restaurant.
The contest is open from Nov. 1 to Dec. 1, 2011. Kids, adults, staff, all are welcome. Drop off your submissions to 790 Bay Street, Suite 306.
